Lighting with an emphasis on comfort and design

Fastoffice, the modern office hotel in Gävle, offers a range of offices of different sizes, meeting rooms, and inviting social areas. The moment you step inside Fastoffice, you'll be greeted by a warm and pleasant ambiance that permeates the entire space. The design concept aimed to blend industrial elements with soft materials and tones, preserving the old rough charm while providing a comfortable environment.

Working closely with architect Helena Kozak, Fastoffice developed a comprehensive solution that incorporates all the practicalities expected in a contemporary office.

Louise Torssell from Fastpartner emphasizes the importance of creating a holistic atmosphere, from carefully selected colors to thoughtfully curated furniture and interior details. The goal is to make the offices a delightful and appealing place where people genuinely enjoy spending their time, particularly considering the shift towards remote work that occurred during the pandemic.

LED panels were chosen for most of the offices, while the social areas, designed for co-working, lunch breaks, and gatherings, had a distinct vision. Circular black luminaires perfectly complement the black lacquered Tego ceiling in these well-proportioned spaces. The pendant luminaire Kvill, manufactured in Vimmerby, was selected to achieve an exciting and modern aesthetic, enhanced by the presence of black-painted ventilation pipes. The long rows of Kvill fixtures contribute to the overall impressive visual appeal.

Louise expresses satisfaction with the outcome, stating, "The black Kvill luminaires turned out exactly as we had envisioned. Additionally, prioritizing energy-efficient lighting was crucial. We received assistance in optimizing the facility's operations, making LED lighting with control an obvious choice for sustainable energy management in the office."

In addition to Kvill, Fastoffice incorporated the use of recessed LED panels, specifically the Cellini model, in selected conference rooms. Furthermore, downlights were installed in meeting rooms to ensure both sufficient general lighting and an aesthetically pleasing wall-wash effect, highlighting paintings and artwork.
