Hallerna school is an upper secondary school in central Stenungsund, Sweden, which underwent an extensive new construction that was completed in the summer of 2023. The school has students from grades 7 to 9 and the new construction is an impressive three-story building that includes classrooms, technical rooms, an auditorium and administrative spaces.

During the construction process, Aura Light has provided lighting calculations and sample luminaires to meet the school's specific lighting needs. The school strives to have an innovative teaching that is adapted to their varied learning and study environments, where the environment should give the students a sense of security and inspiration. The lighting for each hall has therefore been adapted according to the purpose of the hall. In some of the classrooms, the luminaire Sevede suspended has been installed, while in other classrooms the LED panel Aura Lunaria has been chosen to be installed. In corridors and homestay spaces, the downlight Samo has been provided, which has also been combined with Sevede recessed. In their auditorium, recessed Sevede has again been installed but with black lenses because of the black ceiling, which gives a sense of luminous lines.  

Much of the lighting from us is wirelessly controlled, which means considerable energy savings as the lighting is never unnecessarily on and can be adapted according to the purpose of the lesson. Helen Brodin, Project Manager from Assemblin, was responsible for the project management of the installation of the luminaires and she describes the result as an energy-efficient and adaptable lighting solution that makes Hallerna School an inspiring and modern learning environment.
