An updated regulation of the RoHS directive means that all light sources that contain mercury will be phased out starting in February 2023. Affected light sources are compact fluorescent lamps (CFL), T5 and T8 fluorescent tubes, and in 2027, metal halide and high pressure sodium lamps. See more details about this via the link below.
