Switch to energy-efficient lighting!

In accordance with the RoHS directive, which prohibits the use of mercury in fluorescent lamps, T5 and T8 fluorescent tubes as well as compact fluorescent lamps were phased out in August 2023. One option to meet the new regulations is to replace fluorescent light sources with LED alternatives.  A change to LED is a good investment for both energy consumption and the environment. Energy consumption can be reduced by up to 80%, depending on the previous lighting. LED light sources have a significantly longer lifespan than traditional light sources, which means fewer replacements. They are completely flicker-free and give full light immediately, in addition, they are free of mercury and other environmentally hazardous gases.

Convert from watts to Lumen

Since LED is much more energy efficient than fluorescent, it cannot be replaced with the same wattage. With these conversion tables, you can easily find the right LED alternative that corresponds to the same luminous flux (lumen).
