Reduced climate footprint

To reduce the climate footprint as much as possible, we have developed a luminaire body of low-carbon aluminum for Helags. In collaboration with Hydro, we have chosen to work with REDUXA; one of Hydro's greener aluminum alternatives consisting of primary aluminum produced with renewable energy. Hydro Reduxa offers - thanks to the use of renewable energy from water, wind and solar - 4 1/2 times lower CO2 per kilo of aluminum than the global average. The choice of materials and components is important in the development process of new products. Sustainability lies in our DNA, and in the development of a new product, we look at how we can make a difference from a sustainability perspective. Choosing energy-efficient and sustainable components and materials that have a lower environmental impact is a matter of course for us. Helags is our latest example where the environment is in focus.
