Aura Light expands its product family for industrial lighting with Helags, a lighting fixture primarily for industry but also for a number of other application areas as it fits in rooms with both high and low ceilings. In collaboration with Hydro, we use low-carbon aluminum that lowers the product's climate footprint. Together with the popular industrial luminaire Sarek, Aura Light now offers a complete range of industrial lighting for the professional market. Helags and Sarek are both designed by our development team in Sweden, where the luminaires are also produced.
Fluorescent lamps make up a large part of the lighting in Sweden's schools, according to a survey conducted by Aura Light. From next year, fluorescent lamps will be phased out, in accordance with EU directives to remove the most resource-intensive products from the market.
Aura Light presents the new product family Sevede, a luminaire with endless possibilities for creative lighting solutions in interior environments. Sevede is developed, designed and produced in our facility in Vimmerby. Throughout the project, sustainability and technology have been in focus, which has led to well-balanced material choices and suppliers. The name is inspired by an old district in Småland named Sevede, which had its headquarters in Vimmerby.
Peter Mannhart has been appointed the new CEO of Aura Light International AB. Peter has extensive experience from different management roles in the lighting industry and has worked for both OSRAM and LEDVANCE. With his solid background, he will now lead Aura Light into a phase of further growth. Peter started in his new position 20th of February.
Aura Light has won one of Germany´s most important brand awards in the class "Excellent branding" - category "Lighting". The award was presented in a ceremony in Berlin the 6th of June.
Aura Light has received an award for its social engagement.
