New CEO and Chairman of the Board at Aura Light

We are pleased to announce that Henrik Håkansson, most recently CEO of the listed company Arla Plast, has been appointed as CEO of Aura Light International as of October 1, 2022. At the same time, Fredrik von Oelreich, member of the Board of Directors of Aura Light, will take over the role as Chairman of the Board.
Aura Light equips 125 of Hornbach's facilities with LED lighting

Together with the Swedish lighting manufacturer, Hornbach Baumarkt AG converts the majority of its DIY- and garden stores in Europe to environmentally friendly LED technology. HORNBACH Baumarkt AG, part of the Hornbach Group, currently operates 169 do-it-yourself stores with garden centers and two specialty stores in nine European countries, including 98 locations in Germany. 125 of these have now been rebuilt and equipped with LED lighting in an extensive project.
Cemdag acquires the Noral brand from Aura Light

As of May 24, the Turkish lighting company Cemdag acquired the Noral brand from Aura Light. Cemdag are specialists in outdoor lighting and with the acquisition of Noral they will expand their business in Europe and invest in Noral's future. Noral consists of high-quality and classic outdoor luminaires for park and street lighting.
New industry lighting from Sweden

Aura Light expands its product family for industrial lighting with Helags, a lighting fixture primarily for industry but also for a number of other application areas as it fits in rooms with both high and low ceilings. In collaboration with Hydro, we use low-carbon aluminum that lowers the product's climate footprint. Together with the popular industrial luminaire Sarek, Aura Light now offers a complete range of industrial lighting for the professional market. Helags and Sarek are both designed by our development team in Sweden, where the luminaires are also produced.
Six out of ten classrooms may have outdated lighting

Fluorescent lamps make up a large part of the lighting in Sweden's schools, according to a survey conducted by Aura Light. From next year, fluorescent lamps will be phased out, in accordance with EU directives to remove the most resource-intensive products from the market.
