Bright lines that creates opportunities

Aura Light presents the new product family Sevede, a luminaire with endless possibilities for creative lighting solutions in interior environments. Sevede is developed, designed and produced in our facility in Vimmerby. Throughout the project, sustainability and technology have been in focus, which has led to well-balanced material choices and suppliers. The name is inspired by an old district in Småland named Sevede, which had its headquarters in Vimmerby.

Sevede consists of two luminaires in fixed lenghts; one pendant variant and one ceiling mounted version. The unique thing about Sevede is that you can also create a homogeneous light line in a length that suits your room by putting together any number of luminaires. It makes it possible to create unique lighting solutions. The light line can also be pendant, or ceiling mounted. Technically, Sevede is of high quality. Stefan Pettersson, designer and developer of Sevede at Aura Light says:
-The lens optics are outstanding, which means that the glare rate is very low and the luminaire is therefore suitable in office environments. It gives a very pleasant and nice light. The luminaire is available with 3 types of optics that are suitable for different purposes. The luminaire is also available with opal optics for a more visible experience that is excellent for light lines, or microprismatic optics that have an even light with a low UGR value. The product also has a high efficiency, up to 160 lm / W.

Sevede is available as on / off or DALI and can be controlled with the latest AI technology in the form ActiveAhead; lighting control that is both wireless and self-learning, and with Casambi; a wireless system based on bluetooth. The pendant version has a separate uplight, which gives 30% uplight and 70% downlight.

Sustainability in focus

Sustainability has been in focus throughout the development process and every decision has been carefully evaluated, from the material used to smart technology and the choice of subcontractors.
-The aluminum we use for Sevede has been recycled for lower impact on the environment. We have optimized the size and weight of the luminaire as much as possible without sacrificing the good light quality. We have also chosen to cooperate with subcontractors in the Nordic region to avoid long transports and cooperate with several local players where possible, Stefan concludes.
