Improved working environment with new lighting from Aura Light

DHL is a world-leading logistics company offering a broad range of transport and express delivery services worldwide with operations in more than 220 countries. DHL has several facilities throughout Sweden, with those in Stockholm including DHL Express and a DHL Freight, the latter recently refurbished with new lighting from Aura Light.

New LED solution for DHL Freight offices 

In spring 2018, the DHL Freight in Stockholm underwent a thorough renovation. The entire office was to be given a major facelift, including the replacement of the old, run-down lighting. The office is mostly comprised of a large, open-plan space, but also encompasses a couple of small office rooms, meeting rooms, a canteen and storage facilities.
    Mats Winsa from Assemblin was the project electrician and says that LED was a principal requirement from DHL for the new lighting. The final selection was the award-winning Aura Lunaria LED panel, used to illuminate most of the office space. This was supplemented with Aperius adjustable spotlights on decorated walls to illuminate the DHL logo and Opuz with built-in sensors in the bathrooms. Lighting control is used to ensure that the lighting is on when needed.
   “The result was a real upgrade, like night and day. They’re extremely pleased!” is how Winsa describes the reaction to the new LED panels.

Straightforward partnership with Aura Light

With fast, expert feedback from Aura Light, the planning and results have been well received by both the electrician and the end customer. 
   “This is the second project I’ve done for DHL and I chose Aura Light both times,” says Winsa. “Working with Aura Light is a breeze compared to larger lighting companies where things can easily get complicated. When problems arise, they’re dealt with and resolved. Things should be easy.”
