Customized industry luminaires to Valmet Automotive

Valmet Automotive is a service provider to the automotive industry. Since the founding in 1968, the company has stood for holistic vehicle manufacturing on behalf of renowned OEMs and more than 1.7 million vehicles – such as for Mercedes-Benz, Saab and Porsche – have left their production lines to date in Uusikaupunki, Finland. 

Valmet Automotive has installed approximately 500 high-bay luminaires from Aura Light in one of their factories in Finland. The luminaire Certos has been installed in production and logistic halls with high ceilings, up to 12 metres. 
-    The luminaires provide not only good light and work conditions in the factory, the solution is also very energy-efficient and saves approximately 75% in energy compared to the old installation, says Anne Mäkelä, Area Sales Manager at Aura Light Oy.
 It was important for Valmet with a durable solution with low maintenance, since the factory is operating 24/7.  Aura Light customized some of the luminaires to Valmet, painting the versions for emergency lighting in red.
