Aura Light gets order from Aix-en-Provence general hospital

The lighting company Aura Light has received an order from Centre Hospitalier du pays d’Aix in Aix-en-Provence for energy-saving Long Life lighting solutions. These solutions will reduce the hospital’s energy consumption by 55 % and give the hospital an annual cost saving of €37,000.

Aura Light is a lighting company that develops, manufactures and sells Long Life lighting solutions. These help the customers to reduce their CO2 emissions and energy consumption by up to 80 percent.

"With the Aura Light lighting solution we will be able to give our patients and medical staff better visual comfort and at the same time reduce our cost and environmental impact, says Mr. Dominique Del Negro, head of the electrical engineering department.

The hospital has a lighting system consisting of 15,000 fluorescent lamps and Aura Light was involved in the replacement of 2800 lamps. The hospital will reduce the energy consumption by 55%, or 805,657 kWh/year and the CO2 emissions will be reduced by 81 tones/year.
