Aura Light wins German Brand Award 2019

The lighting manufacturer AURA LIGHT is the winner of the German Brand Award 2019 in the category “Excellent Brands – Lighting”.

The German Brand Award is one of the most important awards for successful brand management in Germany. In the “Excellent Brands” class, the best product and corporate brands in an industry are honored.

AURA LIGHT offers high-quality, sustainable and economical lighting solutions with high quality and environmental standards for professional customers. With the product segments lamps, luminaires and lighting control systems, the company covers both indoor and outdoor areas.

“It is a great honor for our company to have received this award,” says Frank Veldhoven, Managing Director of Aura Light GmbH. “Aura Light is an established/traditional brand in Sweden, which was founded as LUMAlampan in the 1930s. All the more reason for us to be pleased that we have won this prize in Germany with this relatively young brand”. Astrid Fischer, Marketing Coordinator for Central Europe, adds: “We are very pleased, especially since we were nominated by the jury for our brand management and did not actively apply. We are all the more proud of our brand work. For us it is a great recognition and a nice signal that we are on the right track”.

The German Design Council is one of the world’s leading competence centers for communication and knowledge transfer in the fields of design, innovation and branding. Every year, together with the German Brand Institute, it awards the German Brand Award to successful brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication. The decision for the award is made by an international independent jury of experts with representatives from business and science. The German Design Council was founded in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag to strengthen the design competence of German industry.
