Aura Light launches a new compact metal halide lamp
The lighting company Aura Light launches a new metal halide lamp, for usage in for example shop lighting. It has a lifetime of 30,000 hours which is more than double compared to standard products and the longest lifetime on the market. It saves up to 50% of maintenance costs – good for both cost savings and the environment.
After the success with Aura Crystal Long Life, Aura Light is now launching a new compact metal halide lamp with UV protection to prevent fading of fabrics which makes it well suited for shop lighting. It is an efficient and sustainable light source for professional users.
– Now we are expanding our range of metal halide lamps, bringing a sustainable lighting solution to shop lighting. The quality is very high, as for the rest of our products. The customer is offered a lamp with an outstanding and brilliant white light, says Martin Malmros, CEO and Group Director at Aura Light International AB.
Aura Crystal TC Long Life is an excellent high pressure ceramic metal halide discharge lamp, based on the Aura Long Life technology with two arc tubes mounted inside, which results in twice the lifetime compared to standard products.
The lifetime of Aura Crystal TC Long Life is 30,000 hours (12B10 = 90% survival rate – 12 h switching cycle). In professional applications it means seven to eight years of use. The average life on this 12 h cycle is 43,000 hours. In installations where lamp replacement is difficult and costly, the long burning time of Aura Long Life lamps enables more cost effective lighting and reduces the need for maintenance.
